We know that finding the right senior living option for yourself or a family member is difficult. We also understand that finding the resources to pay for services can be even harder.
In our research to help families receive the financial assistance they may need, we have discovered that wartime veterans and their spouses may be eligible for an Aid and Attendance Allowance. This benefit helps cover the cost of services received in assisted living settings, and it often remains unclaimed by those who qualify. Aid and Attendance is paid to veterans, their spouses and parents. This allowance is available in all Compensations, DIC and Pension Programs. It is paid based on disability or the need for aid and attendance by another person.
